In early 2019, LODGINGRevs was chosen in a competitive bid process as the vacation rental compliance and tax remittance system for the City of Dallas, TX. LODGINGRevs identifies short term rental properties, notifies property owners and is the system of record for all Hotel Occupancy Taxes for the City. Per the staff report to City Council, staff members highlight the online permitting and tax remittance capabilities of the system. “Importantly, this system will be more efficient for the City Controller’s Office because it will eliminate the manual processes currently in place to manage HOT collections and provide the ability to pay Hot and Tourism Public Improvement District (TPID) Assessment Fees electronically.” The system will go live in September and the conversion is ahead of schedule.
